Q. Am I eligible for the program?

A: To be eligible for the $50 gift card, Participants must be in good standing with Agway Energy and must provide their valid email address. To be in good standing means that Participant must be an active customer with Agway Energy and be current on all payments. To be eligible, Customer must be a new customer of Agway Energy. To be considered new, Customer may not be a current or pending Agway Energy customer, or have been a customer in the previous 12 months.

Q. Are there any other requirements for the program?

A: Unfortunately, prior enrollments excluded. Also, we’d love to have your email address so that we can notify you of how to redeem your gift card. We’ll also send you our seasonal newsletter and keep you apprised of how you can improve your energy efficiency.

Q. How much can I earn for enrolling with Agway Energy on the web site?

A: Agway will reward you with a $50 gift card from a variety of restaurants, home improvement, or retail stores in your area. You will receive one $50 gift card for each gas and/or electric account that is enrolled on the Agway Energy web site and becomes active.

Q. Is there a limit to how many accounts I enroll with Agway Energy?

A: Great news! There is no limit to the number of accounts you can enroll on the Agway Energy website.

Q. When will I receive my gift card?

A: Once you’ve been an Agway Energy customer for at least three consecutive billing cycles (approximately 90 days), we will process the request for your gift card(s). To receive your gift card(s), you must be an active customer of Agway Energy. Please allow approximately 120 days from your start date to receive your gift card voucher. Your voucher will provide you with complete details on how to receive your gift card.

Q. Enjoy the benefits of EnergyGuard… Then Refer a Friend.

A: Once your account has been successfully enrolled, you may contact our customer service center and refer a friend or family member. Once they successfully enroll and you both have been active customers of Agway for 90 days, you will earn another $50 Gift Card in appreciation for sharing our services.

Agway Energy may modify or terminate this program at any time for any reason without notice.

Issuance of gift cards is subject to review and approval by Agway Energy Services.

A: You’re covered as soon as you begin receiving your energy supply from Agway Energy Services.

Q: Do I have to pay extra for EnergyGuard™ Protection?

A: No. This valuable protection for your home is included as our service for our residential customers.

Q: Do all residential customers of Agway Energy Services receive EnergyGuard™ Protection?

A: Yes. All residential natural gas and electricity customers receive EnergyGuard™ protection.

Q: How do I call for service?

A: If you experience a problem with your heating / central air conditioning systems, or electric lines in your home, simply call our toll-free number at 1-888-982-4929. One of our Agway customer care representatives will promptly make all of the arrangements for you.

Q: What happens if I have a problem late at night or on the weekend?

A: Agway EnergyGuard™ offers 24-hour emergency service. Our team of technicians are on call any time of the day or night to handle your emergency needs with your equipment. And, there’s no additional charge for after-hours calls on covered parts and labor.

One of our Agway customer care representatives will promptly make arrangements for you.

Q: When does coverage begin?

A: To be eligible to receive EnergyGuard™ program benefits, customer must be active with Agway Energy for a minimum of 45 days.

Q: What happens if I have a problem with my heating system, central air conditioning unit or electric lines late at night or on the weekend?

A: Once you’ve become an active Agway Energy customer, you have the ability to refer friends and family to also become an Agway Energy customer and earn a $50 gift card to a variety of businesses in your area. To receive your gift card, both you and the person you referred must be active customers of Agway Energy for at least 90 days.

Q: How much can I earn for referring people that I know to Agway Energy?

A: For every person you refer that becomes a customer of Agway Energy, we will reward you with a $50 gift card from a variety of restaurants, home improvement, or retail stores in your area.

Q: Is there a limit to how many customers I can refer to Agway Energy?

A: Spread the word because there is no limit to the number of customers you can refer to Agway Energy. With our program, it’s Refer, Receive, and Repeat!
Only one Participant can earn a gift card for any given Customer.

Q: How can I participate in this program to help my friends receive the great benefits of being an Agway Energy customer?

A: Referral requests can be made via the Referral Program or by contacting our call center directly at 1-888-982-4929. An existing customer must provide the name of a potential new customer. Existing customer must also provide their valid email address to be eligible. A new customer can also provide the name of an existing customer that referred them.

Q: I’m a customer and referred my friend to Agway Energy. When do I receive my gift card?

A: Once your friend or family member has been an active customer for three consecutive billing cycles (approximately 90 days), we will process the request for your gift card. Please note that both the referring customer and the new customer that has been referred must be active customers for at least 90 days. Please allow approximately 120 days from the referred customer’s start date to receive your gift card voucher. Your voucher will provide you with complete details on how to receive your gift card.

A: Your state Public Service Commission approved plans that allow consumers to choose an alternative supplier, such as Agway Energy Services.

A: Consumers who use natural gas can choose to either continue purchasing from the utility or to purchase their natural gas from a marketer, such as Agway Energy Services.

Q: Will it cost me anything to switch?

A: No.

Q: What will be the role of the utility if I purchase natural gas from Agway Energy Services?

A: Your current utility will continue to transport the natural gas through their existing pipelines to your home. They will continue to provide you with all of the services that you’re used to – such as reading your meter, maintaining your gas pipes and handling emergencies.

You have the freedom to choose your natural gas or electricity supplier. If you choose another supplier your local Utility will continue to provide the safe, reliable energy delivery services and will respond in emergencies, regardless of your energy supplier. Always report possible safety problems, such as a noticeable odor or natural gas leak, immediately to the utility’s emergency number.

Q: How will I be billed?

A: In most cases you will continue to receive a single bill, Agway Energy Services will be your provider for the natural gas commodity charge, whereas your local Utility will charge the cost to transport the natural gas.

Q: What will happen if I have a question or complaint about my bill?

A: If you have a question about the charges billed to you by your utility, you should contact the utility first. If you have a question about any other charges associated with your natural gas service, you should contact Agway Energy Services at 1-888-982-4929. We promise to do everything possible to promptly resolve any questions you may have about your bill. You may also contact your State Public Service Commission.

Q: If I need service on my equipment, whom do I call?

A: Agway Energy Services is equipped to maintain, repair and install all types of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, including natural gas. Call Agway Energy Services for solutions for all of your energy needs. Technicians are available 24 hours a day, 365 days year.
